The national standard 'GB/T 19870-2005 Industrial inspection thermal imagers' was publicized
China, Sept.9, 2005--The national standard "GB/T 19870-2005 Industrial inspection thermal imagers" was issued by the Standardization Administration of P.R. China and implemented on April 1, 2006.
The national standard GB/T 19870-2005 is drafted by a team of experts leaded by Guangzhou SAT Infrared Technology Co. LTD(SATIR) under its own industrial standard of the company, honors the innovative technologies of SATIR as a leading manufacturer of infrared(IR) cameras in China.
GB/T 19870-2005 is the first national standard issued concerning the industrial inspection thermal imagers both at home and abroad. By presenting the company engaging in IR cameras with this national standard, the government wants to regulate effectively the development, manufacture and testing of IR cameras in China, through which speeds up the development sharply of China's commercial IR technologies and at the same time, helps users from various industrial sectors buy IR cameras in a more reasonable way under this national standard.
