Products made by SATIR are categorized in eight major series of: R&D, predictive and preventive maintenance, handy-tool, Ex-proot, fire fighting, security, surveillance and vehicle-mounted type. They are widely applied to electrical, metallurgy, petroleum processing, building, medical, security, surveillance, vehicle assisting, fire fighting, coal mining, process control, research, and many other commercial industries and academic research areas.

Pyroelectric Infrared Thermal TV

In July 1991, SATIR determinedly started developing China''s own infrared camera, setting up the project of developing SAT-9101 Translational Pyroelectric Infrared Thermal Television, the China''s first industrial inspecting infrared imager. Since then we stepped in our own era of pyroelectricty.

In April 1997, the State Scientific and Technology Commission approved SATIR to be the technique undertaking unit of the State Torch Program, SAT pyroelectric infrared thermal television. SATIR achieved the great development opportunity.

In March 2000, SATIR signed an agreement with Sofradir, a company that released UFPA Infrared detector right after the U.S.A. With the advanced detectors (unattached devices) supplied by Sofradir and, SATIR''''s more than 10-year advanced assembling technique, SATIR released the domestic infrared camera with independent intellectual property. Thereout, SATIR stepped in the era of FPA.

In June 2000, SATIR released SAT-HY6000, the first UFPA infrared camera in China.
